| Trip Description | The New Year’s Day hike up Badger Mountain is an I-MAC tradition dating back 70+ years. Come join us for the climb and be a part of the photo at the summit! Dress for the weather: a warm cap, warm gloves, multiple layers on the rest of your body, and poles and cleats for your feet if there has been any snowfall on the mountain.
Continue the fun after the hike for the annual I-MAC chili feed potluck at the home of Jan Fox. Bring your favorite hot dish to share – soup, casserole, chili etc. You may also bring a side like cornbread, chips, and salad. The socializing starts at around noon – or as soon as you arrive after the hike. You are welcome to bring some holiday cheer to imbibe and share. Direction’s to Jane’s house will be emailed to registered participants a day or two before the potluck. You do not need to register to hike, but you must register to attend the chili feed. |
