Trip Description | You should come on this trip even if you’ve already walked a route through the network of trails on the east side of Wallula Gap, thirty miles east of the Tri-Cities. There are so many combinations of trails in the network that every trip can provide a different experience – views of the Columbia River across the gap, cozy canyons to explore, ridges to climb, hollows to discover. We’ll walk for about six miles in three hours, pausing for lunch at a scenic spot. You can expect to see some of the early wildflowers: milkvetch, prairie star, phlox, balsamroot, and yellow bells. |
