| Trip Description | Snow Mountain Ranch offers a relatively close network of trails on 2000 acres about 20 miles west of Yakima. We’ll cross Cowiche Creek on a bridge and then follow the west trail to the 2970’ summit of Cowiche Mountain, and then descend on the east trail. You can expect a variety of wildflowers: lupine, balsamroot, bitterroot, grass widow. The terrain is not steep, with big views across the valley to distant ridges. |
