Trip Description | A good workout on the ascent and an exhilarating ride back down. We’ll follow a road for 6-8 miles climbing 2000 feet to near the top of Red Top Mountain and then glide down its steady grade on the return. All participants must be experienced and fit cross-country skiers. Dress for cold and wind, with flexibility to remove layers if the sun shines and the air calms. All participants must bring the ten essentials. Expect to return by 5:00 pm. |
