Trip Description | We’ll hike 96 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail over six days. On August 4, we’ll take Amtrak to Eugene and spend the night in the home / yard of my sister-in-law Elizabeth. She’ll drive us to Santiam Pass and hike with us for a while. From Santiam Pass, we’ll walk the PCT past Mt Jefferson, through beautiful Jefferson Park, finishing at Timberline Lodge. One member of our party lives in Sherwood, so his wife will pick us up at Timberline and take us to their home, where we’ll spend the night. The next day (August 11), she’ll take us to the Amtrak station in Portland for the ride to Pasco. Additional fees are Amtrak fare. Party limit 5. |
