Trip Description | Yes, Mt. Spokane is worth the drive! There are two snowshoe routes I am considering and parking availability will determine which route we take. It will be a long and fun-filled day. Expect to leave the Tri-Cities by 6:00 a.m. returning approximately 6:00 p.m. Note Mt. Spokane’s snowshoe trails have some elevation gain and snowshoeing uphill takes more energy than hiking uphill so this will be a workout.
If needed you can rent snowshoes and poles from I-MAC. See the rentals page for details. Contact Jim Langdon hikerjim@imacnw.org 509-943-3992 (no text) to rent snowshoes. |
Approximate Mileage | 7-8 |
Elevation Gain | 1,000 – 1,500 |
