| Trip Description | Horseshoe Prairie offers 14 miles of ski trails, most of them groomed by the Blue Mountain Land Trust every week. We’ll take the Tamarack, Wandering Wolf, and Prairie trails for seven miles through meadows and open forest on gentle terrain with 1000 feet of elevation gain. Dress for cold and wind, with flexibility to remove layers if the sun shines and the air calms. All participants must bring the ten essentials. Expect to return by 5:00 pm. |
