Trip Description | An easy backpack (2.5 miles, 1100 feet elevation gain) to a charming basin in the headwaters of the Teanaway River. For those with more energy, we’ll day hike to a beautiful pass above after we set up camp. This trip is offered as a Graduation Backpack trip for the Backpacking School, so students have the priority. Esmeralda Basin has plenty of space for twelve campers. |
