Trip Description |
A Graduation Backpack trip This trail runs along the northwest shore of Bumping Lake. The trail traverses through conifer forest and in June there should be ample wildflowers including wild strawberries. There is one creek crossing a large log and we will cross a couple of talus slopes. We’ll be doing an out and back hike for a total of about 6 miles with very little elevation change. Remember to bring a fishing pole if you want to try your luck on the lake. The group size will be limited to eight people due to the size of the overnight camping area. Backpack school graduates have priority sign-ups for this trip. |
