Trip Description | Glacier Peak is the most remote and rarely seen volcano in the Cascades, requiring at least three days for a round trip ascent to the 10,500 foot summit. This is a strenuous trip, with about 13 miles and 3500 feet elevation gain to base camp, and 12 miles with 4500 feet elevation gain to the summit and back to camp. Some prior crampons, ice axes, harness and rope experience are required so please inquiry with trip leader. |
