Trip Description | Join I-MAC and Washington Trails Association for an All-Women trail work weekend, May 3rd – 5th, at Edgar Rock on Hwy 410. We’ll have a really fun time while getting this busy trail ready for summer. Annual trail maintenance involves clearing drains, cutting brush, removing obstacles, fixing the trail bed, and whatever other care it requires. I can’t promise a big log to cut.
The trip is headed up by WTA Volunteer Crew Leader, Lisa Black. If you’ve not worked with WTA before, please visit the WTA Volunteer page for more information about what to expect. Specific details about what to bring to work at Edgar Rock will be shared closer to the weekend. We are scheduled to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but you may join us for one or two days only. Camping will be available at a nearby campground Friday and Saturday night for those staying multiple days. When you sign up with Shelly Urlacher, please indicate what days you plan on being there. Please contact Shelly Urlacher (shellyu7761@gmail.com) to be added to the list. These are private group workdays and not visible on the WTA site. If you have trail work related questions, please contact Lisa before Apr 24th at either lisa@wta.org or 425-259-1517. |
