Weldon Wagon Road (DH-2)

Weldon Wagon Road trail near White Salmon. 5.4 miles round-trip and 1290 ft elevation gain.  “Oregon white oak woodlands with open ridgetop meadows, wildflowers, and views of Mt. Hood  the White Salmon Valley make this a delightful hike that is off the beaten track” (WTA web site.)Depending on participant interest, we can add another short hike along the Gorge. The WTA trail description notes that people with a fear of exposure might not like the steep open hillsides.
