Trail Maintenance, Work
Dwight Schoonover, firstname.lastname@example.org
Though we normally do our work in the Wenatchee Ranger district, they are not scheduling any volunteer trail work currently. We have reached out to Blue Mountain Crew (thank you Terry Kneblik) in hopes of fulfilling our annual commitment to trail work. They have selected the Zig Zag/Grouse Mountain trail as our mission. There are a few changes to the process this year. It is an all-day event, and you must be signed up on their website for official participation (please email me as well so I can keep a tally of our participants). There are 15 slots but not all of them will be for I-MAC. Public (non-members) may also sign up. This will be hot, dirty, and dusty work but very satisfying at the end of the day. Dress for conditions including extra layer, long sleeves and pants, suitable trail shoes, and the 10 essentials including a lunch/snack with plenty of water. (at least 2 liters are suggested).
