Begining snowshoe backpacking trip

$30 to driver & Sno-park Permit
This is a good introduction trip for learning winter backpacking. The trip will be around five to seven miles with
only around 500 feet elevation difference. Spending the night out while on a snowshoeing trip gives you more time
in the wilderness and enjoy the beautiful Horseshoe Prairie. For those who have aspirations of doing overnight
mountaineering trips this is a great practice for your overnight technique in the snow. Even thou this is technically a
beginners trip, having some prior summer backpacking experience is required. Come prepared for cold and snowy
weather. A sleeping bag rated for 15°F or lower with a closed foam sleeping pad is required.
