This summit trip will be done by the Easton Glacier on the south side of the mountain. This route pass along the rim of the Sherman crater, which often off gasses fumes. It is heavily crevassed glacier, but still friendly for those who have basic glacier travel training. Due to the long drive and camping one night on the mountain at Sandy Camp, this is a multi-day trip.  Prior experience using  crampons and ice axes, and harness and rope experience is required. You are responsible for your own safety. Honest assessment of your skills and fitness required for this trip is in the best interest of your safety and the safety of the entire group.
