Or are you just looking for an easy way to get to a camping spot and hanging out with a great group of people by a campfire? Or do you just want to test your backpacking gear on a low stakes trip? If you said yes, to any of these questions this trip is for you!\nThe classification for this trip is BP-2 because it slightly exceeds the 500 ft elevation gain. It will be a 2-day backpacking trip out of Salmon la Sac, upstream from Cle Elum Reservoir. It is also available as a graduation trip for the students who attended the 2025 I-MAC Backpacking school in April. The camp site at Hour Creek is only three miles in and is located beside the river and close to a powerful waterfall.
