To make the most of the long drive, we’ll spend Saturday night in a cabin at the KOA campground near Leavenworth. It sleeps six. If you register, I’ll tell you if there’s room for you in the cabin and suggest alternates if not. You can go home on Saturday if you wish.\nOn Saturday, we’ll climb 1300’ in two miles to the crest of a ridge offering big views of the lower Wenatchee River valley and the Enchantments. In the foreground are the flowers and scattered Ponderosa Pines.
